關於角色設定

這是在”飆風雷哥”設定集裡看到導演對角色和場景設計的”小小”前提要求

The character designs would combine iconic Western characters with desert animals. Yelchin explains, ”For example, there’s always a gambler in those saloon scenes in the West. What is it about the gambler’s ability to see things that I respond to? I put an owl in the role, because the owl can turn his head 180 degrees. It’s finding psychology out of form.”
Verbinski told the artists to focus on personality as they designed the characters and demanded bold silhouettes, so each of the hundred-plus characters—would be distinct. The sets would be designed in the same spirit. The animal’s town of Dirt would have the silhouette of a classic Western-movie town but be built from human detritus: the saloon is made from a gas can, the post office from an old metal mailbox, and so on.

角色個性這個東西,真的是最困難而且也需要一直提醒的關鍵
